The PJ Project was started in the spring of 2010 by Kaitlyn Berger when she was just 11 years old. One Sunday, her pastor told the congregation about the many children in need at the Delaware County Shelters. She wanted to do something to help; so she started The PJ Project, which has been Collecting pajamas for local children in need. In the past several years, the PJ Project has continued to grow. The PJ project has now become a family project which includes the help of her younger siblings, Nicholas and Sophia. The PJ Project is not only Kaitlyn’s journey, but has also become
her family’s journey.
